In the autumn of 2016, Jon Erik will be playing the right-winged character Pål, a member of Soldiers of Odin, in Kilden Teaters newly written Anne Frank’s Siblings. A highly relevant play about the refugee wave that hit Europe in the beginning of 2015, with the aim and desire to give refugees a name and not just a number. By bringing the online-commentaries to the stage, and linking the story of Anne Frank’s diary with the current situation, we are holding up a mirror to all of those who allow history to repeat itself.
The script was deviced trough conversations with 15 refugees from Syria, Eritrea, Sudan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon and Kurdistan, and representatives from Soldiers of Odin. Some of the refugees will also contribute on stage.
